I think this is the single most important part of the decision in order to set you up for success in passive rental property investing.

Owning buy n hold is not as passive as some newbies think.  

Also, there are many more passive investment options that can give you cash flow without all the headaches.   

Once you sell your old property and use a QI, the exchange will be complete and your capital gains will be deferred.

I think your issue is (if I recall your other post) that you don't have any experience as a co-host but are trying to gain it by offering your help for free.

It's probably the best way to get started and learn what it's like to own properties while gaining equity and limiting your living expenses.
