I don't use the word 'landlord' and you will find articles in several apartment association magazines that recommend avoiding the use of the word 'landlord', but I stopped using the word more than 30 years before I ever read an article about avoiding it.

This makes real estate in cities like Philly more attractive to New Yorkers who are paying an exorbitant amount for an apartments.
