Also, it seems like they rent to the younger teachers so they have a place to live in town when they otherwise wouldn't have a prayer of getting a place. 

I work as a teacher, so I have $60K of income from that.

Every major wholesaler in my area is either an ex-teacher or an ex-detective, both relying on their ability to ferret out information, sift through misleading lies, and piece things together.

I was a history teacher way back, so I have a fair amount of understanding where being a landlord conjures images of evil.

I am 47, a single mom, a special education teacher and a recently licensed real estate agent ( which at the moment I am doing part-time while teaching).

Hi BP - is providing teacher rent discounts considered discrimination in Massachusetts?

FWIW my 10 cents re LO/WLO;   There are great coaches/teachers on youtube of lease option and wholesale lease options:Joe McCall, Joe Bodeck, Joe Crump, John Jackson, all are great actually. 

Teachers FCU and Bethpage FCU are both good.

You can always get a multi but not all of us can be teachers.
