I’m sure it’s a way to get business in the door for them however but does seem like an actual structure to have down the road at some point with more properties. 

Though the property and surrounding areas look nice in the pictures, the doors and windows has bars which concern me.I am just starting our my RE investment journey and all help is greatly appreciated.

While PM itself won’t create significant wealth, it opens doors: when clients sell, you list the properties; when investors buy, you manage and maintain their assets.
