You can also offer yourself as a helper to a handyman (see craigslist) or neighbor (do you have any projects I could help you with?)

In the REIA I'm a member of, we just had a wholesalers coaching program end that I was a helper in.  

Plumbers-600 a day per man usually plus a helper which is about half the plumber.

That person cleans themselves and may have 1 or 2 helpers at times.Benefits: If you can find a good one, they can be very consistently good.

It's gotten to the point where anyone can be a plumber.I once removed all of the galvanized pipes and re piped a house in PEX in one day with no helper.
