Safest option for landlords is NO pets.

Children’s toys will not be left in common areas, or in flower beds.3.TENANT will notify LANDLORD when leaving for an extended amount of time (more than 2 weeks).2.No animals or pets of any kind shall be kept or harbored on the premises without written permission from the LANDLORD.

These dogs are exempt from any rules about pets as they are legally medical equipment, not pets.

If that renewal stands the expiration date is now May 15, 2018Tenant has remedied material lease violations (unauthorized pet, trash on property) but continues to be behind on monthly rent payments.
