Hi everyone, I am close to investing in my first duplex buy and hold property and have a few questions for experienced investors:1. the duplex is currently owned by turnkey supplier.Based on BP rental calc, the numbers seem to work out okay for my goals.

Also Teams will only come up under the team leaders name.

Would like to find a local real estate attorney who is experienced in investor type transactions, especially subject-to.

Hence, I partnered w/experienced players, found a role that fit my schedule and encourage others to do the same to get into bigger properties, enjoy scale and manage my time how I want to.  

you EAT the decisions of the PM and have liability for the results.With absentee ownership, you may have no choice but to use a PM, but 19yrs being 2hrs , 120 miles away, I created a local team to do the heavy lifting and I did the screening and decision making - - seems to have worked out well (see profile).

I want to build a level 7 real estate team in less than five years.

You dont need to pay a mentor but it is easier to team up with someone on your first deal and split the profits with them.

I am in need of a patient and experienced agent in the north Austin/ Round Rock/ Pflugerville area.
