I neither agree nor disagree with your findings because I'm neither a demographer nor an economist, but I do see a lot of the usual suspects on your top ten list (although Detroit was a surprise but understandable).  

I know some might disagree with this approach, but I'd ask if they ever really truly lived in the same building as their tenants. 

Atlanta metropolitan area is 5 or 6M people and the numbers would be different, if the statistics were based on that.Michaela, I'm not disagreeing that Atlanta's population growth has been very strong.
