I agree with you 100%.

Your service alone for your Country is a great conversation to have with a seller/sellers agent.Make sure you Bank/Lender is also offering a loan commitment and not a "generic" pre-approval letter it can make a huge difference.* One thing to keep in mind if the seller knows it will not pass an inspection/Appraisal they may not want to accept VA if they know it will be "Subject to" or fail due to an issue.

I would agree with most of the comments and personally would not drywall over plaster unless that is a major reason to do so, like it is in risk of falling or failure.

Ideally, I'd go that route, I've just been discouraged from the lack of supply of multi and agree with your point that the only time better than now is yesterday -- I'm keeping my eyes open!
