So lets not use the "lazy and choose to be homeless" as the poster child of the issue.... the facts just don't support that position

It’s amazing how far you can get when a mentor sees you as a protégé or child, and takes this on.

A young family with one child lived there and they were good tenants. 

Because our inventory is heavily weighted with one-bedrooms, we don't have very many children and all of our tenants with children either have stay-at-home relatives or school jobs so that child care won't be an issue.

They are also used to living on low wages so an influx of cash like the stimulus money can be enough for a few months rent and if it's a couple with a child or two they'll be enough for 3-4 months rent. 

His tactics seem to be the bastard child of a used car and timeshare sales person.

It's really something to see an 80 year old person act as a child.

Eviction legal process is extended, requiring longer notice times before a petition can even be filed at the court (at least 2 months to get a warrant)   Judge can issue a stay of said warrant for UP TO ONE YEAR for "financial hardship", which includes inadequate child care.It's just really frustrating. 

But it's been challenging balancing scaling my real estate business with also starting a new very demanding full time job and also giving birth to my second child this past year :)What do you want to do with your real estate business this year?
