As previously mentioned these banks are nationwide so the connection for the bank to the streets is a BPO agent thats supposed to be local and familiar with the market .

I suppose you're suggesting that the likelihood of becoming inhabitable is low.

I've been an investor since 2006 and things seemed ok for a few years.....but now the redemption checks have stopped coming in, and the 1 property that PIP acquired for me was supposedly worth $40000+ with my $2200 acquisition investment.

It depends what you are looking for in a quadplex I suppose, I have 2 kids and my husband works remotely , while I still work in Boston.

I suppose I could advertise the price w/o heating and then in the add clearly state that heating/electrical is an additional flat fee and list it.

I did not expect PM to be that high, though I suppose with such a hot market they can likely charge whatever the want.

If the tenant does EVERYTHING they are suppose to do under the lease, the money is RETURNED to them.  

Bottom line is, I am very thankful to BP and all the people I’ve met along the way who have helped me on this journey and helped me to understand the power of intelligent real estate investing.Some other time I’ll post on another investment I made that was supposed to be more passive but ended up being very nerve-wracking, and I still don’t have my money back….
