Bend took a tremendous crap when the market crashed, one of the worst on the west coast, fortunately it hasn't fully recovered thus allowing you some possible short-term appreciation potential.  

But there is a tremendous opportunity out there for commercial investors/developers who want to work with the City to convert commercial warehouse to office space.  

There is a tremendous amount of information there, that is easy to consume.

They do it a few more times, and that is how to get tremendous amounts of money into self directed IRA, now to lend, invest, or do anything else self directed IRA's can do!

@Mike LandryYes, she could deed the property to you so you can pay the back payments, but you're still taking a tremendous risk by not having a title commitment to review...no telling what other liens may be lurkiing in the background.
