I listen to the podcasts when I'm able to and they are fantastic and very informative and helpful. 

There are other things but this is the thing that creates the most waste of time. 

I have no prior experience in real estate, however, am fortunately enough to have access to sources of income besides a fixed job salary that provides me additional CF and a long-term safety net.

This setup helps us reduce our mortgage each month and makes our home work as a true investment.

The yearly inspection does help for this IF you pay attention.

Part of the reason might be because they would only help if you plan to hold the property long term (like over 10 years at least).

I originally thought this would be a low cost route to documenting the issues and alerting others.

There are also always TCs in the market willing to help inside of most brokerages communication portals.
