If they want money up front, figure a small amount (like a few hundred dollars) to cover initial minor expenses, and definitely put it on a credit card or as a second choice, Pay Pal.

[I typed in a long response while my son was preparing for bed and BP choked when I hit submit ... the "saved draft" feature did not seem to work either ... ohhh @Joshua Dorkin]  @Amit M.The biggest cost we experienced with the commercial machines was having the coin acceptor / card readers serviced/adjusted.
