Sometimes they offer me some food that was brought up from where they come from. 

Now I haven't eaten in 11 hours (I prefer pizza over catered food) and it's getting late.

Here is some food for thought.

Comparing to the other places that I lived before, Ohio, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Boston, SF is way better in terms of weather, food, culture, and job market diversity.

But who can count on that - especially if that 1K is needed for food on the table and braces for your kids.

Public transportation expansions are happening, street repairs, Whole Foods Distribution, and about $2m worth of business proposals including a hotel for tourism is in the works because of the Historic Pullman District and President Obama naming it a National Park District.

Obviously they are not responsible for any of the weather related damage; however, they had the power shut off and left spilt food all in the fridge/freezer, did not clean any bathrooms or kitchen, broke the built-in stereo system, left nails in every wall, paid nothing for the 14+ days after damage (we agreed to 50% of regular rent), the list goes on.
