From what I’ve seen unless you are doing off market deals it’s tough right now as it is everywhere, though the market overall has been showing signs of a slowdown. 

Being self-employed is notoriously tough to get funding, but it is possible.

Its always tough looking back at those deals that "could have been" that you just weren't in a good position to pull the trigger on.Good Luck!

Working with family is tough, however, if everyone is logical and you make sure to disclose all aspects of the deal and make sure everything is very well documented and spelled out in contracts, then it is very possible. 

Don't go off a price per square foot as a lot of these jobs has to do with complexity and materials more than it does with the size. 

The instructors were phenomenal and made the material much more memorable by providing real-life examples. 

That's tough, yes I would definitely look to charge rent for a business.

Getting used to winter has been tough though.
