As for my area in FL not to many but Im now looking at surrounding areas.

Just like everywhere, the Asheville and surrounding market is swift and is challenged with low inventory, but we are seeing listings (ever so slightly) start to pick up, so hopefully there will be more buying options out there.

Just surround yourself with a solid team and some good mentors.

Surround yourself with people who hold the same mindset as you, introduce your friends to that group and you might find that they catch on. 

We usually buy gallons of the Zep citrus degreaser from Home Depot to clean up after our tenants and have always been able to use that to get the stoves and surrounding areas cleaned back up.

The numbers on Columbus seemed low to me at first glance, but I guess if the data is only considering the actual city of Columbus and not any of the surrounding suburbs/bexley it makes more logical sense. 

I’m looking to do my first buy and hold deal and my target markets are the area’s surrounding Jacksonville, NC (Snead’s Ferry, Swansboro, Emerald Isle, etc.).

Surrounding yourself with an experienced team will boost your confidence to move forward!

@Shaun Shiraishi, based on what you presented you can either get a nice place for you and your kids, or live inland and share your surroundings with three strangers (if you purchased a four-plex, lived in one and rented out three units).Putting family first I would do option 1.
