After talking to our tax accountant he told us we should be charging more than just $200/ month in rent, so we bumped it $650/month and now it pays for all of our electricity and mortgage on itself and our house.After being shut down on the HELOC I was a little discouraged but after a couple months I couldn't sit around feeling defeated any longer.

I had to buy bricks, mortar, my guy did it, the company came back, another check to get it incpected. then give the receipt to the city. pain in the ***.i was so fed up, thought about bricking it shut briefly. too bad it was already rented a day/two prior.take the crap out and put electric. so much better.

I've stored roller naps for over six months this way (work out any air, wrap a few more times and tape shut the ends) And they were still usable many months later. :)Good luck and have fun!
