I’m interested in doing long term rentals using the BRRRR strategy, but curious to learn what others are doing.As mentioned you can do a BRRR but do not expect to get all your money out of the deal and have it cashflowing.

Do I need to lower my standards or try to find alternative ways to source deals? 

We are working on finding the leak but in the meantime this tenant (who is needy and has been otherwise annoying) is making a big deal about these small stains that are about 4” inches diameter.

I work with a large capital fund that has some pretty impressive deals, happy to meet investors and see how we can work together. 

Ask the manager to explain their process for dealing with maintenance, late rent, evictions, turnover, etc.

With that being said, you can build a successful STR if you win on two fronts (to simplify it)The real estate side and the hospitality side (operations).The real estate side is buying a very good deal in a market that has a history of vacation rentals in my opinion. 

I'd like to free up some cash so that I'm ready to close on the next great real estate deal that I track down.
