I am acting upon the advice fromone of the myriad of podcasts I've listened to where it was suggested that I build my team of real estate partners BEFORE I close on my first deal.

There's no guarantee your money will grow with real estate, but the odds are more in your favor especially if you know what you're doing and/or have a good team helping you.

That are more experienced with managing a large portfolio for around 5-6%

I, too, have wanted to secure better employment, but have been experiencing difficulty in securing a position in what I went to school for.

I've actually got a real estate license here in Texas (Home Team of America) that I only use for my personal investments and to help out friends/family.I'm wide open to meet folks, add value to the conversation where I can, and soak up information like a sponge.I'd love to chat/network with other investors in SA who're actually doing deals (not kicking the tires).
