@Shaun Caldwell Our contractor who has done over 250 flips and also happens to be an engineer has a formula where he can walk through a property and have a rough estimate within 15 minutes.

Not that is can't be learned but a classroom will be much quicker than trying to dig for yourself and learning from those DIYers getting wrong information.If you're really interested in developments, don't start in some RE office, make coffee in a civil engineering office that specializes in development projects, that will be the fast track that touches on all aspects of development.
