Note that this other REI may have great credit, but is doing the BRRRR method...and has hit their limit on mortgages.Here's what you would gain from this:1 - A percentage of the cash flow from the finished Rental2 - Experience on all phases of the process, from beginning to the end (this is a required part for the use of your credit), as an observer.

In sum, investing retirement funds in real estate is another method of growing your retirement account.

Time to add some other methods for long term gains... 

I think i like the idea of the BRRRR method best but i can be fluid with how things happen.  

There are different methods for making returns in these markets, but it is way harder and riskier IMO for a new out of state investor.

Everything on the MLS and wholeseller sites seem to be priced high and I was wondering how do some of you veterans out there tackle this issue?

I did not practice this method.

It is not nearly as passive as some may believe or make it out to be, though some methods are certainly more passive than others.
