Hey BP, I am a Rochester, NY native who will be returning to the area within the year after relocating to Minneapolis, MN for work.

I will die on that hill :-)I lived in Metro Detroit from 2017-2022 before recently relocating back to California. 

Also, ironically I am looking to relocate to the Sacramento area.

  :)  I was recently in the same boat, 800+ credit applicant who inquired and expressed that YES she wanted the place first, and would look to move in about 2 years and relocate out of the area (just sold her home), and a 700 or so Credit score person who would likely rent for 3-5 years from me, maybe more. 

It may even involve relocating to a different part of the country.

I’ve closed a number of deals here with East coasters relocating.  

So when it came time for me to relocate to Rhode Island for military orders in October 2012, I became an accidental landlord  because I still owed far more on the house than it was worth at the time and I understood that short sales were treated the same for FICO as foreclosures.

We have an influx of California cash coming in from relocation and investors looking to get their money out of California and into Nevada.

The only deals I’ve done is buying selling my personal residences from relocating with my company on average every four years.

The City of Portland has provisions where the tenant can request relocation assistance if your rent increase is 10% or more.
