It was a grind to get there and will be a grind to get to where I want to be (which is transitioning to being a broker at CB and owning a couple of rentals to remain insulated from the inconsistent paychecks when being a broker) but when surrounding yourself with the right people has made those goals more within reach.

Aside from it being more conforming, you need to consider that buyers will not want to be carrying groceries up a flight of stairs to the kitchen and having living space above the bedrooms causes plenty of foot traffic noise below for those sleeping.

Downtown apts. are a grind due to lack of quality tenants and the high cost of maintenance on old run down properties. galvanized pipes in these old places are a nightmare.
