Worked a deal after about six month for some profit splits,. 2010 went on my own the rehabber funded my deals, found another contractor/lender to fund some, I did the work he funded the deals 50/50 split. 2011 hired a couple guys to help me, started a crew, did six houses.

Just wondering because whenever I'd see someone mention in the past something along the lines of, "I'll do the work myself" as opposed to just hiring others; I'm pretty sure it ended up with others saying it wasn't a good idea...

If it was permitted and inspected, you're fine.If you're not confident about your ability to do the rehab correctly, hire a general contractor, licensed subs, and get permits for everything.
