My best guess is that they are going to prohibit it in the traditional old part of town and allow it in the newer annexed areas like Leisure Mountain, Reynolds Mountain, etc.

Traditionally I recommend a house hack combined with a BRRRR, but your capital is low and I have concerns about the current RE market and associated cash flow.  

They are looking for rentals (for the most part) and will therefore be at lower price points than traditional home buyers.

As my available capital increases, I can pursue possible traditional avenues.

But I've talked to a few contractors and at least in my area, it's actually more expensive to build with containers than to do a traditional stick built home.

I did an equity line with Figure Lending on a mortgage free house but it wasn't a traditional HELOC.

If any of these ideas are good I would love to see them adopted by normal builders because I don’t like the current type of traditional homes that are on the market, both in terms of design, but also the functional things like pest resistant features that seem to be generally lacking.
