I have a car and would be happy to travel to buy you lunch or coffee anywhere in the NYC metropolitan area or maybe even tri-state area or we can always connect virtually.

I'm actually mid-island so I'm not above traveling more north for better deals!

They have aspirations of having $1M in the bank so they can enjoy life with their kids, travel, etc.

I am doing this transaction from a distance so I’m not too concerned about where the attorney is located as long as he/she is ok with traveling or doing things electronically. 

With that being said, the short term rentals that are doing well have the following characteristics:- Private single-family houses- Private pool- Excellent cleanlinessMy conclusion is that in the future travelers will prefer local travel (vs top-10 destinations, hotspots), and will favor privacy, contactless check-in and check-out, and will not want to share amenities and common areas. 

If you travel towards the adjacent suburbs the numbers usually look better for SFR: Round Rock, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, etc.

Hey Jason, investing in an area I would like to travel to is something I have planned in my future.

But maybe you both want financial independence, more time together, world travel, matching sports cars, or the opportunity to pour your lives into the welfare of others less fortunate.
