I have the same relationship with my real estate agent now.Answer #1...I give my guy 5 to 6% of the profits for selling and successful project managing if he does a great job and everything goes as planned.He helps me find the properties,calls the contractor for inspection and decision making,helps to plan the new look of the home,buys the property,controls the day to day contractor scheduling and follow ups,staging,and finally selling the place.He earns every penny of it and bonuses if we sell it for much more than asking price.Answer 2....
