I wanted to validate what I was quoted was fair and standard and to share my thoughts/feelings/fears in regards to the agreement.

It is important though to ensure that everyone is aligned on the goals and long terms objectives.

To answer your question I would say to make sure you prioritize your coursework to ensure you learn the material and graduate with the highest GPA possible and find a sales job that you can work on the side.

It took me months to find a fair market value property in a good neighborhood in E Broward.

I don't know your market, but I don't think I'd do a deal like that unless I had a great day job that ensured me that I could pay the mortgage on this property no matter what.

I wasn't too worried about the debt as I made pretty decent money with work and would be able to pay it off fairly quickly knowing that we were now in our dream house in our dream neighborhood.  

I'm thinking higher points should be fair in this situation.
