Also would love to know more information about the NZ property markets I’ve been reading the bp books and listening to podcasts and although they do provide really good information and I enjoy listening to them , I feel a lot of the information doesn’t apply to The NZ property market?

I enjoy managing my properties and tend to fix or improve things before they break and that budget usually comes out of my reserves.

Do you want to truly enjoy living in your "home base" or are you okay setting up your home base wherever the numbers make the most sense?

@Matthew Peterson reminds me of my youth, first year of University, enjoy our nude & topless beaches, party til dawn until the cold reality of being conscripted hit @ 18, but we still couldn't drink (legally).

I usually did an annual few week visit to thoroughly check it and enjoy the beach.

Now I only add value to deals in areas I truly enjoy doing the work, and since I enjoy doing my small part it doesn't feel like a distraction from my job!

We're enjoying owning our Multi-family and want to pick up two more this year. 

I've enjoyed connecting with folks and bouncing ideas off of people thus far.

I know this sounds like quite the variance but there are elements of all these cities that my family really enjoys.
