I should note that I would prefer an online course if possible (I think that's approved in California?)

While it is great to be proactive, for a standard clean deal on a 1-4 unit property, you will probably be doing a standard homeowner type residential transaction, so you may not need much advice up front that (nothing you could not find online, like here on BP, or in books mentioned here and elsewhere).What would you ask them anyway? 

I just moved to Philadelphia from California and want to get started in my RE career.After some research I have whittled down my options for the online courses to two:https://www.realestateexpress.com/prelicense/pa/pr...andhttps://portal.recampus.com/re/templere/store/port...They both have their pros and cons for me: One (real estate express) is cheaper and offers a test prep book, the other (Temple) is a recognized institution in the area and has a physical location for testing.

At BP, not only can you connect with other real estate investors, you can watch and learn from the free online videos and courses that BP has to offer.

This thread is making me thinking of jumping ship and trying another online management system.
