When looking for a city to reboot business after the crash, southern California was the obvious choice, for all the reasons I listed.

I've been in Toledo for 33 years by choice and making a good living in RE for the last 8-9 years.  

Since you will be carrying a balance, this probably won't be the best choice for your rehab.

No matter what investing you choose to do, the advice given was great and essentially the choice is yours!

Small local banks and credit unions may be a good choice.
