Inflating there way out of this debt cliff is the attempt. and imo that’s why the house market is holding up short of supply demand basics is that investors are trying to pile into hard assets and just get out of the dang dollar.

You can do drop and swaps which is a tax loophole which attempts to hide the sale from the school boards that try to file claims against the assessed value of your home, you can get a tax abatement in certain areas that will enable you to not have an increase in taxes for a certain amount of time, or you can purchase properties that already have the tax abatement on them.

My first inclination is to attempt to get him to execute proper lot lease agreements with all tenants prior to the purchase but I have a strong feeling that he won’t go for that; it could be construed has him “selling his friends out.”If I were to purchase “as is” (sans lot leases) can I then require tenants to sign lease agreements or face eviction?
