I live in a very small community and from the discussions I have had with the other small number of investors there are not many opportunities to do wholesale deals.

So i'm not bummed but or discouraged but wanted to know where some of you local wholesalers get your list and what types of list are you using.

I would like to connect with wholesalers, Hard money lenders and investor friendly RE agent  in the area - 

Is there ANYTHING I as the Wholesaler can do?

Hi Kristin,NYC from the outside looks like a tricky place for this project.To hear about multifamily in rough shape you will need to find the wholesalers in your area. if you buy one from a wholesaler you will need to pay cash up front.If you are going to use a conventional loan, like Freddie Mac, FHA, the duplex will have to be in good shape, which means retail price.

I do wholesales/flips but am looking to get into multifamily soon, hopefully 2019 like you.

I’m considering getting a contractor (she’s charging me $300) to estimate repairs on site or doing a co-whole sale with a more experienced wholesaler.

I can't offer help regarding whether you can wholesale a house with back taxes owed...
