Will you be turning any of them into rental properties?

Hi Robin, I have some experience as a LP but I’m looking to buy my own rental property on my own.

The duplexes will be in B-class mix of blue-collar and white-collar neighborhoods with good rental demand and during times of a recession they should hopefully hold their rental price & demand.How does the plan sound?

I have another one under remodeling that I plan to do as a short term rental (no experience yet, but this house is next door to my home).I have a dedicated website that I maintain myself where I publish the details, applications etc, also list it on zillow and do the screening through mysmartmove.

How can a VA be used to manage the advertisement and rental inquiries. 

If you refinance keep in mind you can get up to 80% LTV even as an investment rental. 

I assume I need to register my property as a short term rental in Texas as well as my city?
