I recently finished it and can say that it is slammed full of awesome tips for people looking to invest in zip codes outside of their own. 

@Mike Hineman Sorry for the late reply, for some reason I didn’t receive an alert of your response. 

We would like to fully finish the basement on our side of the duplex and "partial" finish the basement on the occupied side.

There's another finished basement I could rent out for $600 in addition.Fast forward to 2018, the value of the property rose to $1.3 million.

Most were built in the early 80's or late 70's. 

We run on Saturday mornings and didn’t finish up until after 8am.

I was woundering if we can ask them to get out of the contract now  without loosing the deposit or should we wait until the scheduled closing date and hope that they will be late. 

I finally finished the renovations  on my gorgeous house (that's what everyone else says anyway) and I'm renting out the 1 bedroom apt below and just started renting out rooms in the main house where I live. 

South of 30, or out to the east of 635,  the 30 corridor.Frankly we personally have had trouble finding much of anything lately that looks like a great deal, and the few we have found we have been outbid. 

Any idea of cost per sqft on construction with lower end finishes?
