This sounds like a recipe for a family fight later unless you are an only child.

It'd be great for a young couple with a young child, a single individual, a couple, someone looking for a yard for their dog that's fenced in....but the open master could turn away prospective renters. 

We figured we "had" to buy now because prices were going up daily and we would lose our chance.We lived in the townhouse for 8 years had a child there.  

Well, it was bound to happen, has been a few years, but we have the classic case of the tenant from hell in one of our units.Couple and child, dog and cat, in a good all tile, recently renovated unit.Problems began when we refused, not for the first time, the tenants request to modify the unit inside and for yet another sublet of one bedroom.

If the borrower is low-income and/or a senior and gets legal help, it could be child's play to rip apart the lender's foreclosure and loan.A lot depends on the agreement and paperwork the seller/lender has with the borrower.  

Now, if Mary Lou files against her ex-husband for back alimony and child support, costs of some failure to abide by a divorce decree then that may not be an amount that can be ascertained easily.

We have capital, great credit, but not a lot of time as we both have demanding jobs and we have a small child.
