There are not many rentals listed available online, but when comparing to some of the surrounding areas (Hammond, Lansing, even Highland), it seems $1,900 per month (min) you would have a boat load of interest (thus $2k or more?).

From my research, the homes with boat access should do very well.The smell isn't Red Tide, and it "shouldn't" be the power plant -- it is most likely the suppler smell from the phosphate plants.

Draws are the Lakes, boating, kayaking, hiking & parks, fishing & hunting, wineries, breweries, skiing, snowmobiling, colleges, and peace an quiet of the country side.Since this is my first year and only my first quarter, all I can offer for occupancy numbers are that I have been booked every weekend (2-4 night stays) since the 3rd week of January 2022.
