Now it's true that the travel cost will be higher but there are ways around that.The reason I say this is, I know there are other parts of the US with much stronger economic growth than the mid-Atlantic, and those will be better places for investment.You didn't say what you plan to do with your properties but that would be really helpful to know.

It's going to depend on the condition of the property - as you know, conventional lending will only work with a habitable property and in B'more City that word (habitable) can be very elastic.
