Strictly from a cash flow perspective, wouldn't it be beneficial to use cash from a refinance to fund a downpayment as opposed to a heloc?

@Jonard Lopez I didn't have a project, I was just responding to the poster about the permitting and the code requirements.

@John Stewart the considerations for the project would be zoning code based on the location of the project followed by structural considerations.

There are some digital lockboxes that allow you to create multiple codes for different users.

Only trouble was estimating the repairs as there are apparently some code violations that would need to fixed like rotted wood trim and a broken concrete chimney.
