I have to replace a concrete porch and a small section of driveway for a Garden City house.

I have learned tons from watching their interviews  and Q's and A's on AskBP videos as well.

@Jason Holman I own a duplex in wyco near State and 72nd, its been a great return and a decent area.

I have found that the must have contacts are HVAC, plumber, appliance repair, electricianAdditional helpful contacts include carpet company, painters, and a handyman.  

It's cost me some carpet and a coat of paint which I did myself except for the carpet install.

Permanent home and a vacation rental in my name.

I have one and a half years left in school and am determined to own a piece of property before I get my diploma; lets make that happen!

I have rented out some of my properties over the years as yearly rentals and as vacation rentals also.  

One big room that has an egress window, one small rec room, and a full bathroom.  

The rents/HOA dues compared to the listing prices (140k-220k) make it seem like an easy entry point into real estate with relatively low risk since I will live there initially and a large portion of the property is taken care of.
