I have a smaller 5 unit that may or may not be worth it - still exploring - but when I'm successful in acquiring these larger Detroit multifamilies, I will be reaching out to discuss a cost seg study.

My focus primarily is on exploring the wholesaling market, but would like to eventually get into rentals/small multi-units as I grow more knowledgeable.  

The Book on Rental Property Investing by Brandon Turner gives you examples to go off of as well as different options to explore and what comes with the territory. 

Hey Reginald,I would definitely explore the forums - there have been many conversations covering best procedures when just starting out.

That has definitely crossed my mind and I will explore that option more as I continue to grow my network. 

We are open/explored purchasing lists on Listsource, visiting the county for the Tax Delinquent records, driving for dollars, etc We do our best to surround ourselves with as much knowledge as possible and be patient and consistent in applying that knowledge.

This may not be the direction I end up taking but one I would like to explore for the possible house hack benefit.
