Best to have Cashiers checks made out to yourself for multiple amounts(Because they don't make change) I recommend you visit the county's website and look for the Sheriff's dept.

I know there is a new ordinance on the ballot, but I thought it was only changing the OMI to 2 years and changing the date built to 1995 (for rent controlled units).

Sadly, it is FHA loan so stuck with it throughout the loan regardless of amount of equity in the property from my understanding (although they recently change the FHA rates so think I can get a slight adjustment)3.)

dljoka-at-kw-dot-com , His name is Daniel, he works for Keller William in Medford, i dealt with him on a property ( i never bought it ) but he responds to you and was very helpful, this was last year i dealt with him and i have not talked to him since then. just check where you are buying there, values change dramatically from one block to the next in some areas.
