Can you do it....sure.....can you collect.....maybe, if you're the bigger guy.Can you violate these issues in a secured note.....sure.....can you collect.......sure, as long as they pay you, can you foreclose....sure, if the borrower sits back, you could get the property back.But if a borrower squeeks,yells and cries foul and you end up in front of the guy in the black robe, you may not get your money, or the security if you violated law, you might be paying more too.

I did own a piece of land about 250 miles from me and I called the local high school and ask the principal if he knew any good upstanding dependable student who would like a small time job.

He also likes to rent to young nursing students, the younger the better, for several reasons: 1) The younger they are, the more likely they are to have mom & dad back their finances. 2) Nursing students aren't there to play football, cheerlead, or party.

If you are going to go to school in Florida I would think an university town like Tallahasee might be a good place.. student/ grad housing might be hot.. however IDK.. but on the coast- beach areas won't be affordable.
