Can you do it....sure.....can you collect.....maybe, if you're the bigger guy.Can you violate these issues in a secured note.....sure.....can you collect.......sure, as long as they pay you, can you foreclose....sure, if the borrower sits back, you could get the property back.But if a borrower squeeks,yells and cries foul and you end up in front of the guy in the black robe, you may not get your money, or the security if you violated law, you might be paying more too.

On one hand, I love it, on the other hand I am feeling a bit like a student asking for help and being told they are stupid.

I did own a piece of land about 250 miles from me and I called the local high school and ask the principal if he knew any good upstanding dependable student who would like a small time job.

He also likes to rent to young nursing students, the younger the better, for several reasons: 1) The younger they are, the more likely they are to have mom & dad back their finances. 2) Nursing students aren't there to play football, cheerlead, or party.

You might could use a local high school student as well or someone in your area that wants WFH. 

This would be my first student housing deal and currently the property is not being run like that now.

Many depend on students & volunteers.

If you are going to go to school in Florida I would think an university town like Tallahasee might be a good place.. student/ grad housing might be hot.. however IDK.. but on the coast- beach areas won't be affordable.

They'll tell you about all of their successful students and how the same guy that knows Donald Trump is tight with many of the students.

College student loans come to mind as well.
