The one my PM uses defines it by task not by dollar amount, (e.g., changing light bulbs, filters and batteries).

Depending on your house configuration it could be easy task, or not so easy...

I don't know if this is still the case, but paralegals have helped me with this task in the past.

Try doing basic tasks first like painting, basic carpentry and learn from there.

I figure that in the future when I have more capital and less time I can focus on the fun stuff (cabinets, flooring, tile) and hire out the obnoxious tasks like drywall.Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?
