Rules of the loan don't seem to care about this (as long as you qualify credit wise).I'm new at this stuff and have been doing extensive research over the past few months, because I'm in the process of searching for that first multifamily to purchase using an FHA loan.Two additional important points:FHA lending rules have some variation from state to state.

It is kind of hard to do a trial and error  ith these to figure out if going to 8pm would be helpful, since the property needs to be in a pretty specific location....though I do have another one in a couple weeks that it will work for, so I will have had 3 in a pretty short time.
