Jack, have you checked for just real estate investment organizations....commercial being rather specialized may not be organized in a formal club in your area, but those attending REI meetings may invest in commercial properties.

I started moving my things over in to my new home 10 days before that date, 7 days before the lease was up the owner turned up out of the blue and asked to look around, I let him in and he asked for a spare key so he could organize measurements for new carpets etc. 5 days before moving out, he shows up at the house and told me that he had moved a new mattress into one of the bedrooms, I said nothing other than I haven't been upstairs.

Congratulations.I hope it works out for you, the kid and his mom.May I suggest a "reward" for him IF he completes everything without any problems ... something small but meaningful like a sports team shirt or a book.Perhaps you could offer him "continued employment" such as more yard work in the spring?

It's a non-profit organization all having thier own agendas, I have seen more and been involved in more disorganized, unguided and misinformed boards than you can imagine, very difficult to get anything done sometimes, but it just depends of how it is set up and the attitudes there....always politics.As an individual owner, you are simply allow others who don't have a clue to control your property, in ways you can't imagine unless you have been associated with a condo development.
