A few years ago a speculator put together about $50M of financing to buy a huge number of multifamily residences.

I'm looking for cash flow and CCR, not speculating on property values (I'm a student of Ben Graham's Intelligent Investor).

Values will not climb for ever and when they turn there will be a lot of appreciation speculators wishing they had taken their pot of gold when they could.

Best not to speculate on this, have an incident occur, and then find out that you aren't covered.

Make no mistake, betting on appreciation is not investing, it's speculating.

Pure speculation, but I assume the goal was to take control of the whole building.

And I think the Super Bowl will act as a stimulus in attracting more people and development to the city, and of course it would same thing with Amazon, but yes, this is still pure speculation.
