Some people with log cabins love the metal roofs rustic look and the sound of the rain hitting it.In suburbia many home owners do not like metal roofs because of high cost to buy, less fudge factor given to install it by contractors versus shingles, and owners complain of the high amplified noise when it rains,etc. 

I would say know your fair rent, and don't guess, make judgements on facts not assumptions.

On the flip side, if the judgement amount is for thousands, it showed this person will be a HUGE PITA and won't move unless legally forced.   

I'm the kinda guy that doesn't make a claim every time it rains. 

No you won't see me driving a Lexus or making it rain down at the local gentleman's club.

If this happened, your primary residence and other personal assets can become part of the settlement of a judgement.

To some agree, the “artful” ability of the underwriter investor or syndicator is the key - the value judgements made about assumptions is critical.

Everyone loves a nice screened-in porch to have a place to hang out without rain and bugs :-) I'm sitting out on my great porch in Indianapolis right now!
