I am about to purchase a duplex.I was informed that it had meth in it, but was cleaned and certified for good bill of health.Does the fact that it has had this issue hurt value when compared to similar duplexes in the same location that have not had the issue?

I am also a ME and house hack a duplex in the area.

Hello all, I have one rental property under my belt and coming up close on closing on my second property which is a duplex.

Details:  Owner has three properties, one SFH and two duplexes. 

Can someone just confirm that I'm thinking correctly on this matter that just came up please...I'm buying a duplex here in central Arkansas and there is a tenant already in place in one of the sides that has lived there since 2012. 

Additionally, it's well known by all the owners in this condo building that the wall units are a bit loud.I scheduled an appointment to have an HVAC technician look at it and he couldn't find a solution.

I have a condo unit where the HOA participates in a "crime-free" program where no one with a felony in the last 7 years can buy or rent a unit in the complex... point being it's been 10 years and he's had no other issues so I would be OK with renting to them. 

Are condos a good investment?
